JFSWNY has an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator to work in The Jewish Community Partnership Program (JCPP). The JCPP is an innovative model of community-based engagement and service delivery. It aims to enhance the well-being of the Jewish community through improved access to services and building programs/services for members of the Buffalo Jewish Community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you'll assist the Manager of Jewish Community Services in facilitating the Jewish Community Partnership Program (JCPP). The Program Coordinator will be directly engaging with Jewish community partners, assessing their needs, and then working to meet their specific needs. You will be responsible for creating/delivering programs aimed at supporting mental/emotional health and overall wellbeing. You will be a source of knowledge for members of the partner organizations to come to for information, support, referrals, and advocacy.

In this role, you may also provide case management services, supportive counseling / psychosocial support, and provide education to clients and their families. JFSWNY wants to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the Buffalo Jewish community and we want you to help us do that!

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  *   Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Health & Human services, or a related discipline required
  *   Licensure as an MSW, LMSW or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Clinician) preferred
  *   Experience in community programming preferred
  *   Experience providing case management
  *   Experience working with the elderly preferred
  *   Strong familiarity with the Jewish community, customs, traditions, values, and norms
  *   Knowledge and understanding of community and health promotion resources
  *   Multilingual (Russian and Hebrew) is a plus, but not required

This position offers a competitive salary range of $22 -$28 per hour dependent on experience and background. This position offers great benefits including 4+ weeks accrued Paid Time Off (PTO), plus 13 paid holidays (including the Jewish High Holy Days), excellent health insurance (IHA), 401-k with match and more. We also have a reduced work week with an early close on Fridays!
